Voluminous Dry Shampoo
Size: 1.8 oz
- Cassava root absorbs excess oil
- Fuller’s earth clay improves scalp health
- Star anise encourages hair regrowth
Super fine, food grade cassava root powder and a fun, easy applicator make this dry shampoo a cult favorite. The white powder blends seamlessly into even the darkest hair to absorb oil and add volume to roots. The effortless twist cap bottle is perfect for post-workout pick-me-ups or hit-the-snooze-button mornings.
Twist upper cap to open the dispenser, then shake and squeeze bottle onto roots and scalp. Work into hair with fingers or a brush.
Apply at the roots to boost all over volume, or to create extra grip for styling updos. Experiment with applying directly on roots or, alternatively, sprinkling product on fingers before finger combing hair.

About The Brand
Hair care line Rahua was designed around the powerful, restorative Rahua oil traditionally used by many Amazonian tribes, and now sustainably sourced through them. With a small molecular structure, the oil penetrates hair to heal and beautify from the inside out.
I really wanted this to work! The description sounded great so I went for it, however it made my hair sticky, heavy, and weighted. I tried using different amount numerous different times throughout the month, but each time it made my hair just feel dirtier. Still need a nontoxic dry shampoo since I normally use them every week!
FULL VS HAIR
If you have loved the extremely toxic big sexy hair powder you have found an amazing clean replacement. I use this every. single. day. And nothing else on the clean market has given me this much volume. Buy this if you want that big, beachy, sexy hair you see on the runway of victoria’s secret. All natural and all glam.
I'm extremely disappointed
I assumed the point of Follain was that you could trust the products, that they do the research for you. My kids have been using the Rahua dry shampoo and I see the first ingredient is fuller’s clay – inhalation long term can be toxic and lead to fibrosis of the lung tissue or lead to silicosis. Is a dry shampoo worth this risk and why are they selling it to kids.
Great dry shampoo
I really liked this . I use facial oils and my hair gets oily on the bangs . This helps so I didn’t have to shampoo everyday
Not worth the hype
I’d tried other Rahua products, and I just don’t understand why everyone’s so into them. This dry shampoo didn’t rub in well, and didn’t work on my dark hair. It also caused a lot of buildup. Not worth the money–plain old cocoa powder works just as well.
Works well on Asian hair
This dry shampoo has a pleasant smell that isn’t too strong. It definitely makes my hair feel clean, but does have a slightly chalky texture on the scalp. It doesn’t over dry my hair or scalp though, so the texture doesn’t bother me too much. I appreciate that it’s non-aerosolized and haven’t had any problems with application.
causes hair fall
Only dry shampoo I've liked
I have hair that needs to be washed pretty frequently, but if I’m looking to spare a day to improve the health of my hair I use this and it is the best!!! A little goes a long way (for me at least) and it’s super easy. The revolving cap also makes traveling with it easy and clean. 10/10
The best dry shampoo
This is the best dry shampoo I’ve found. The application is a bit odd, but the formulation makes me overlook that because it provides great volume on 2nd or 3rd day hair without leaving a residue. Your hair feels and looks clean and volumized. Love it.
Just as advertised
It really does add volume! Best dry shampoo I’ve tried (and I’ve tried several). Scent is very subtle, but nice. Worth the price, especially considering how long this type of product lasts.
Best dry shampoo
This is the best dry shampoo I have tried – It is the only one I’ve used that lasts more than a day. Provides volume without making hair feel dirty or itchy. Very faint pleasant coconut smell. Easy application. Very happy with this product.
yesssss! my perfect match dry shampoo
Amazing product. the all natural ingredients make a huge difference! I’ve tried a gazillion dried shampoos and typically all the spray-can kinds leave my scalp feeling incredibly itchy and uncomfortable (although they do add great volume). This product adds a little volume, yes, and the dispenser is awkward to get used to, but I’m happy that my scalp is happy. I dry shampoo my hair at least every other day, so the price of this product is considerably well over my price range, but whatevs, I’m sold.
The best “natural” dry shampoo I’ve used. Doesn’t look chalky to cake up. The smell is nice but not over powering. The only thing I would change is the packaging, it can be difficult to apply.
Easy to use and effective!
Easy to dispense but requires a lot to cover a small patch; not my favorite fragrance
Very Good Dry Shampoo
I’ve had a hard time finding a dry shampoo that works for my hair. I have a little above shoulder length, fine hair. I wash it every other day or every third day. It does get oily quickly… I really like the nozzle on the bottle as it makes sure you get the dry shampoo on your scalp. It did help to absorb oil, but my hair was a little sticky/stringy. I think that is just my type of hair though… No fault of the dry shampoo 🙂 Overall, this is the best dry shampoo I have used so far….
Love the application
I love powder dry shampoo, but have hated shaking it out of little bottles with other brands that I’ve tried. This one solves that with the genius applicator that puffs a burst of the powder when you squeeze the bottle. I love it!
Interesting application, great results
As someone who has only ever used dry shampoo in spray form, this was interesting to use at first. It doesn’t dump product but releases it in nice “wisps” of powder. Works really well in blonde hair, no white residue. Also, lasts forever!
This dry shampoo is perfect for my hair that can go about 3 days no wash but on the third day starts to lay a little flatter on my head. Smells amazing! I work in a kitchen and my hair can pick up oders sometimes this on my roots absorbs and masks smell and oil for at least another day sometimes on the weekened when Im not doing much I can push it another day for a super texterized voluminous look. I can never see it in my roots and Im on the lighter side of brown hair. Love love love
Love this dry shampoo!
I have had this dry shampoo for over a year, and LOVE IT. It smells good, works well, and lasts a while. The squeeze bottle is sometimes misleading, and you think you’ve put some in your hair, but haven’t. Otherwise, no complaints.
I’m wondering if mine was a bad batch given that my issue with the dry shampoo is exactly what the other reviewers raved about — there is very chalky (almost dandruff in appearance) residue in my hair. It also made it feel very sticky. The smell is great and the application is easy but the results are not ideal.
This is a little embarrassing but previously I have used Psst! (I am just too heavy handed with shaker-style bottles). So when I tried this in the DC store I had to buy it immediately. The genius applicator only puffs out a tiny bit of product with each squeeze. My hair is fine, long, slightly wavy. This works well on 2nd-day hair and smells nice too. It is expensive, but my hope is it will last a long time.
finally a dry shampoo for curly hair!
This is perfection! The spray delivery deposits a fine layer of dry shampoo that doesn’t have to be brushed through my hair which makes it great for curls. I also like that it’s not pure white and so it works on dark hair. It happens to smell quite nicely too — a win all-around!
The Best for Dark Hair!
I have really dark hair and have never found a dry shampoo that doesn’t make my hair look ashy. This powder is really fine and is not a pure white so it blends in perfectly! Love Love Love.
