I’ve tried every natural/ organic deodorant which was challenging in and of itself coming from an antiperspirant user for decades. Hoppin fresh glides on smoothly with no lingering wet/ sticky feeling and smells fresh. I never get a rash from bacteria , which in the past , I have had from other brands. Love it!

Wanted to love it
I’m a huge fan of Ursa Major products so I really wanted this to work for me but it fell short. Smells great, and isn’t the worst natural deo I’ve tried, but it didn’t last very long or keep me very dry. Native works the best for me, but I’ve been wanting to switch because I know their ingredients aren’t the cleanest possible (particularly the sketchiness of where they get their fragrance) but unfortunately I will not be repurchasing UM deodorant. It would probably work great for someone who doesn’t sweat much!

I discovered this deodorant in a sub box several years ago and have used nothing since. I have super sensitive skin and it is awesome. I sometimes have to add a bit more in the afternoon if I am working outside in summer but otherwise one application in the morning works perfectly. Just wish there was a way to use the last bit that gets stuck at the end of it because it is that good.

I don’t usually leave reviews for products, but I am very happy with this. It works for longer than most (maybe all) other non-aluminum deodorants that I’ve tried, and it hasn’t been irritating to my skin. The scent took me a couple of days to get used to and now I really like it.

I’m addicted to the fresh-feeling Hoppin’ Fresh Deodorant. Like other natural deodorants, multiple applications are needed throughout the day if you sweat, but I smell and feel amazing with every application. My only wish would be to move away from the plastic packaging.

I have mixed feelings. Works great but not for long. It rolls on a little thick but I found that rubbing it in with my fingers resolved that issue. If it only had a little more holding power to combat the odor, I would definitely purchase again.

Love this natural deodorant! I have tried over 20 different types being allergic to aluminum & this is one of the best. It actually works after a hot day or sweaty workout vs others that leave you feeling stinky. Bad skin rash
This was my first time using a natural deodorant. Little did I know that the baking soda ingredient in most of them can cause a pretty narly skin reaction for those with sensitive skin. My advice is if you put this, or any natural deodorant, on for the first time and you feel a burning sensation or see redness/irritation — don’t assume your body will adjust. Connect with the wonderful people at Follain and find the one that is right for you!

This deo smells amazing and so fresh. I started using it in May when I was less… sweaty, and it seemed to work then. Now in the blazing summer heat, not so much. I want to keep using it but might have to find something a little stronger for the summer, and return back to this in the cooler months.

I really wanted to love this product. I love the brand and was very hopeful about the deodorant. Sadly, this deodorant made me smell worse than when I wasn’t wearing anything. My body chemistry must have really hated whatever is in it. It smells great going on, but within the hour, I would honestly smell foul and have to wash my armpits because it was THAT bad. I kept trying to use it, hoping my body would adjust but I never did. Going back to a different natural deodorant.

This deodorant does a good job of stopping odors, however the baking soda in this product causes skin irritation ( red bumps ) that are painful. If you have sensitive skin I reccomend a deodorant without baking soda.

LOVE the scent. It goes on easily and isn’t sticky. It works, but you need to reapply after a workout – even a relatively moderate one. I workout in the morning, but if I did in the evening, I’d probably want to reapply before the workout just to be sure it lasts for the workout. So not perfect, but a solid 4 stars for sure.

I will caveat that I have only used this so far after a lunch run and haven’t tested it’s ability to last all day, but for how I have used it, it’s kept me fresh. Scent is pleasant and feels quite tingly going on. I’ve been using this along side use of a baking soda one, so currently can’t comment about irritation but I’m hopeful this deodorant won’t have that issue once I make the full switch.

Love the smell!
I have experimented with many natural deodorants and this one is by far my favorite. I love the smell and that this one is a normal stick deodorant. I will say, I had to give my body a few weeks to get through the smelly “detox” period, but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. I would recommend re-applying throughout the day in summer or for a strenuous workout. But the benefits outway any inconveniences.

I have been searching for a natural deodorant that works for years. After trying numerous products that did not prevent body odor, I settled on one that worked, but left major residue on my clothes. Having a natural deodorant is so important to me so after my old deodorant residue got so bad it started staining my clothes, I was forced to continue the search for a better product. I heard a podcast about Follain’s natural products, and decided to give this one a try. As a modern dancer, I sweat for most of my day, and this stuff works! On intense workout days I do reapply once, but still, I can’t believe how well it works and it does not leave residue on my clothes. I highly recommend this to everyone!

I have been using this deoderant for over a year and I love it. I tried using other brands but it just doesn’t do the trick. The one thing I learned with using natural deoderant is patience. When I first converted, I was sweating through all of my clothes and re-applying all day. After months of this struggle, my body finally re-balance and I will never look back. With that said, this deoderant lasts all day during cooler months and over the hot summers in Florida I find myself re-applying late in the day before I go for a workout. It smells fresh which I love! I highly recommend.

I went into the NYC Follain store for the first time and had a great experience. Not knowing anything about clean beauty, I appreciated that the saleswoman was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. I did a deodorant detox for about 8 days and then started using this product. I absolutely love it. The mint smell is amazing and I don’t smell AT ALL… you can ask my boyfriend and friends! I work out 6-7 days a week – running, spinning, strength exercises and never have any issues. I’m so excited about this!

I purchased the smaller size to try it out , because I’ve tried close to ten other natural deodorants with no luck . I really like this one . It doesn’t irritate my skin ( which a lot of the other ones did even tho my skin is not sensitive ) . It has a nice smell , and it doesn’t stain . It also works as a deodorant should , BUT you do have to reapply few times trough the day . I do think with all the other positives it’s still a win !

I been using natural deodorant for sometime now. I actually ran out of deodorant on my most busy work day. I stopped at the store and pick this little guy up. I had a busy day already and I was stinky. I quickly applied it when got to the car and it took the smell away. I been using this for several days now and I love it. Definitely one of the best natural deodorants I’ve tried to date. Great deodorant, it does require reapplication every so often though. This is better than baking soda based deodorants because it won’t burn your skin but if you’re a hardcore sweaty Betty- you may need something more heavy duty.

I was really excited about it because after taking the product matching quiz, it said it would be high strength deodorant. This product DID NOT work for me. The texture was good, went on smoothly. However, I had to reapply 3x a day and even then it wasn’t working well. Would not buy again.

I am trying to find more natural products to use on my skin and think this product is good. It smells nice and has the texture and feel of normal deodorant. I am not sure it is as powerful as regular deodorants, so still trying to see if I should use a different one for the gym or more active situations. But overall great for everyday use.

I love the scent of this deodorant and how it makes your armpits tingle. Usually deodorants with baking soda in it make my armpits red, this is the only one that doesn’t. It works well but on hot summer days I still need something that it stronger.

I find that this deodorant works well, it’s easy to put on, and it smells good. But do note that it’s not an anti-perspirant. If you tend to be sweaty, this deodorant won’t do anything to help that.

Great natural deodorant
I bought this for myself and my husband. We had both been using Native natural deodorant which, for comparison’s sake, is also great if scent is your number one concern (it beats back any sign of BO truly for 24 hours!). But, we looked to switch because native stained my clothes, and the baking soda in it (we think) gave him an uncomfortable rash. Ursa majors option has been wonderful! No more rash for him, and no stains so far for me! I’m a sweatier person than most so I do have to reapply on hot days in the DC swamp we call home, but the first application typically gets me through 8ish hours. It is on the expensive side, unfortunately. All in all, though, would highly recommend!

My new go-to
This one makes it so easy to transition to a good-for-you deodorant. The roll-on is very convenient. It smells great, and I find it works well for me for a time. I usually need to re-apply, but I would probably do that with most deodorants. I tend to sweat, especially if I’m nervous or even the slightest bit overheated, so reapplying is just habit for me. But I don’t expect a deodorant to stop me from sweating – I’d just like it to keep me feeling dry and smelling fresh, and this seems to do the trick for me.

My Favorite!
I’ve tried so many natural deodorants. I purchased four different deodorants in this order alone. Of the four, this is my favorite. It smells wonderful, goes on smoothly and keeps me from stinking. It seems to soak into the skin and doesn’t leave any gunk in your pits, so it’s great for reapplying mid-day. I’m not saying it’s the end of my test-driving days, but I’ve definitely found a keeper.

I think this one deserves four stars. The smell is beautiful and fresh. I did usually need to apply twice a day but it’s a great not irritating stick option. No weird shirt stains etc. I have since found one I think works better but this is a very good option for clean deodorants.

This product smells awesome, and it rolls on pretty well. However beyond the first few hours, it really doesn’t work well for me. I plan on finishing it up by using it on days I’m around the house and would have time to re-apply.

Smells nice, but doesn't work for me
I really wanted to love this more. It smells so good and feels nice on my skin, but I didn’t think it rolled on very well, and it just didn’t work as well as other brands in terms of effectiveness. I switched to something else and am slowly using it up on days when I’m just hanging around the apartment.

I really wanted a natural deodorant and this one had a lovely scent. But truly, it does not work and it makes things worse than wearing no deodorant at all. I don’t understand how this happened, but it created a malodor that was not native to me. Horrible. I went right out after an hour of wearing it and bought real deodorant.

It can take about a week for your body to detox and get used to natural deodorants. Try giving it a week to let you body take the change!

Best on the clean market
By far the best clean deodorant in green beauty/skin care I’ve tried! The consistency is exquisite; it glides on beautifully and has a refreshing and calming scent. It does not perform like traditional, toxic deodorants, but it comes darn close. I’m absolutely in love.

What a bummer!
I REALLY wanted to love this product as I’ve been looking for a natural deodorant, and the reviews made it sound great. The scent is lovely, however, I don’t think this product truly works. I would not recommend this product – for me, I had to reapply almost every hour in order to prevent bad smells and excessive sweat, which really isn’t practical for my busy life. It also did not stand up to work outs or high stress/sweat situations. Wish I could return this because it was a pretty big disappointment 🙁

Smells and works great!
Love love love this! I always wanted to make the switch to a natural deodorant but was too scared. I am so glad I finally did it! This smells amazing and lasts through the day. I took the ladies of Follains’ advice of not wearing any deodorant for a week before starting with this new product- a way to cleanse your body of the toxins. I would recommend doing this if you’re making the switch to natural for the first time!

HG Safe Deodorant (so far!)
Wow. THANK YOU Ursa Major! I have tried three out of the four deodorants that Follain carries and this is far and away my favorite. I find the soapwalla creams to be equally effective, but for me you can’t beat the ease of the application with this stick formula. The minty fresh feeling is nice too, as another reviewer mentioned it feels like it is working immediately. I sometimes reapply it on long days and it keeps up with me just fine. Love it! Wonder if they will do more scents.

no more messy fingers
I’ve tried both of the clean deodorants at Follain (Soapwalla and the Meow Meow Tweet baking soda free one) and those are both great but this one can’t be beat for convenience. This works well (Soapwalla is still the most effective for me) and I really enjoy the scent. It’s not quite as strong as the Soapwalla but does a great job and I love having this for travel or for busy weekday mornings when scooping out deodorant and then having to wash my hands after can be a pain. I think this one has the best scent of any of the clean deodorants I’ve tried and it’s not too masculine but definitely not feminine either so guys should have no problem with this.
