Stick with it - it's worth it
Recently I got serious about cleaning up my hair routine – I’ve been using health food store-grade shampoo and conditioner for years, but felt that they haven’t really done my hair justice. I have thick, shoulder length wavy-curly hair that became flat and unmanageable over time; I had to use a curling iron most days to get any shape at all. Two months ago, I started using Innersense products after discovering them here, and it’s been a journey. For the first month, my hair was so greasy and flat (even immediately after showering) that it looked as though I never washed it at all. It was a rocky transition for my scalp after years of sulfates and quasi-sulfates; I also completely stopped using the curling iron and got to see the full damage of my hair’s texture. During those first 4-6 weeks, I almost gave up and went back to my follicle-stripping products; however, after doing my research, I decided to stick with Innersense for a minimum of two months. I have now just passed the two-month mark, and my hair is remarkably happier. My stylist is thrilled to see my curls acting more “piecey,” and the curl is starting at the root again (though I’m still waiting for the worst of the damage to grow out). The greasy days are almost over, and I find that clarifying once every week or two really helps. Overall, I feel that Innersense products (and specifically this shampoo) is helping tremendously to improve the health of my hair and scalp. If this is your first time using these products, be prepared for a detox, but stick it out – it’s worth it.
love this shampoo/hairbath! cleans my hair and scalp without drying it out or making it greasy.
I have straight normal hair. It makes my hair soft and gives it volume. It has good lather and smells like Hi-C/orange juice.
I have fine long hair. The smell is great feels like a spa in your shower. It keeps my hair clean healthy and shiny. Doesn’t make my scalp oily
