About The Brand
Jenefer Palmer began OSEA in the early 1990s at her kitchen sink. Today, the company delivers potent products drawn from the healing ocean, using bioavailable ingredients that are readily absorbed and effectively rejuvenating.
Luxurious lotion - a treat!
Bought this lotion after enjoying several other Osea products. It feels as luxurious as it looks! Lightweight and smooth, it glides over skin, absorbs quickly, and leaves a nice hydrated feeling. It is fragrance-free and has a very mild scent that I find quite nice and natural – similar to other Osea produts. Added bonus – looks beautiful on my countertop. Highly recommend!
Very good, just not as good as other Osea body products
I don’t really review, but I love Osea and felt the need to defend this product a bit. It absorbed into me just fine and provides solid moisture. The Undaria Algae Oil and Anti Aging Body Balm are just so good that this product doesn’t quite live up to that level for me. HOWEVER, both the algae oil and body balm do not absorb super quickly, so if your goal is fast absorption, this is the way to go.
Does not absorb. Is not fragrance-free.
I wanted to love this. But for a lotion that advertises itself as “fast-absorbing” and “fragrance-free”… it was neither. 🙁
Instead of sinking into my skin, it rubbed around and around leaving white tracks all over me without ever actually absorbing… which gave me plenty of time to take in the fragrance, of which it is also decidedly not free. True, the scent isn’t super heinous, but it does smell strongly like johnson’s baby lotion. So if your aim in life is not smelling like a baby…. you’ll likely want to pass. Plus there’s the whole doesn’t-absorb- thing.
