Highlighter is great, but sometimes you don’t want to put on a full face of makeup to reap the glowy benefits. That’s where this illuminating facial oil comes in. Its pearlized mineral sheen leaves bare skin looking healthy and radiant, naturally. Plus, it actually helps to remedy dull skin with nutrient-rich botanicals, so you glow from the inside out.
Place a few drops anywhere you would normally put highlighter: cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of nose, and cupid’s bow. Gently pat into skin for a natural look.
Apply alone, over your makeup, or add a drop or two to your foundation for a lit-from-within glow.

About The Brand
Not all chia oil is created equal. Maya Chia Beauty relies on natural, organic and wildcrafted ingredients, and a patented process called supercritical extraction, to produce potent oils that are free from chemical residues and impurities.
Pretty, but difficult to use and glittery
I’ve been using this for the last couple of weeks and I’m not seeing results to justify the price. This is really difficult to use; it requires so much shaking to mix the oil and pigment, I find myself reaching for other highlighters because of that alone. I had wanted to use this mixed with my foundation, but it makes my skin look dry and cakes the foundation slightly. It is a pretty highlighter over makeup, but not pretty enough to be worth the preparation of the product. Also, and I was really surprised to see this, once the oil is absorbed into the skin, you are left with fine glitter. I’m looking for dewy, not sparkly. I think the ingredients are lovely and I’m sure this will work well for others. Just not for me.
I'm not sold on this yet
I have tried this once so far and was not impressed with the results for the price. I uses this after my toner as a serum and before my moisturizerand it seemed to make my skin look slighty dry. Maybe i didn’t use enough? Or maybe this is better used as a highlighter? Either way I think i will return. There are so many highlighters these days it’s hard to choose and I was originally searching for a serum.
Got the Maya Chia Serume in Golden Hour almost by chance and unsure how it would have looked on my skin, which has started showing lines but still has some imperfections. I was AMAZED! The glow you get is really natural and flattering and shines through foundation (which I put on top of the serum), too!
Very natural looking highlighter that makes a big difference. It catches the light in a perfect way and can be applied in layers to achieve desired look.
I am currently obsessed with this highlighter! A little bit goes a long way and is definitely worth the investment. I love to mix a little bit of the Golden Hour with my Kjaer Weis foundation for an all around glow.
The highlighter I’ve been looking for
This is the highlighter I’ve been looking for! It really does give me a lit-from-within glow. It’s beautiful on cheekbones and very easy to apply. A little goes a long way!
