About The Brand
Hair care line Rahua was designed around the powerful, restorative Rahua oil traditionally used by many Amazonian tribes, and now sustainably sourced through them. With a small molecular structure, the oil penetrates hair to heal and beautify from the inside out.
Great Moisturizing Shampoo
I have always had wild hair in that it is curly, then wavy, and sometimes straight. The Jekyll and Hyde of hair. (And let’s not forget frizzy.) But in any given state, my hair has always been dry. This is the only shampoo I have used that felt like a conditioner it is so moisurizing. I would not recommend it if you have fine hair that gets oily easily, this shampoo is not meant for your hair type. But if you are like me with dry hair that doesn’t get oily easily, this is a great shampoo.
Nice scent, that's about it
I have very thick, long, wavy hair, with a dry scalp – unfortunately, this made my hair very dry and gave me a ton of dandruff. The lather is pretty good for a non-sulfate shampoo, and it smells like a dream, just wish it was just more moisturizing.
Wanted to love it, but leaves my hair feeling greasy
I really wanted to love this product, but I don’t think I’ll purchase again.
I have fine wavy hair, which I wash every other day. I have been using Briogeo for awhile and love it, but was placing an order with Follain (where it isn’t carried) and figured I would give Rahua a shot instead.
First Week: Great, hair felt healthy with a nice shine.
Since Then: Everytime I take a shower I feel like I have to use more product to get my hair clean. It’s like there’s a residue left on my scalp.
Maybe this product would work better for someone with thicker hair.
I have been using this for about 2 months now to really try it out and I’m not sure if it’s the shampoo or conditioner but it leaves my hair dry and feeling like straw. My hair is super tangly and hard to manage/style. The only thing I do like is the scent and the fact that it has clean ingredients. I will say I like it more than Innersense, but I am switching to Prose!
Clean, Healthy Hair!
I really like this shampoo! Even though it doesn’t bubble up as much as regular shampoos it cleans my hair and leaves it feeling soft and silky. It also doesn’t fade my hair color out like other shampoos with sodium laurel sulfate do. It also smells amazing! It was so worth it to switch to this shampoo!
This shampoo works great to detangle my hair and leaves it feeling soft and smelling amazing!
Pleasant scent, rubs in well
Considering this is a “clean” shampoo without the chemicals to make it foam, it actually lathers pretty well and rubs in nicely. Smells great. Just keep in mind you’ll probably have to use a bit more of it or apply in 2 steps to cover your scalp. Really like it though, my hair looks very healthy and it doesn’t dry it out.
I liked this shampoo!
i'm a fan
smells so good i love this
Rahua does it again
After using Rahua’s classic shampoo and conditioner and loving them, I decided to switch over to the Hydration ones for summertime. I love the tropical smell of this one and I have definitely noticed a difference in the shininess and texture of my hair. I am a huge fan.
