"After learning about the VOCs many candles on the market release, I was motivated to find a lovely clean, burning candle. Follain's No. 1 candle has a light but pleasant scent that isn't too overpowering and acts as a charming background accent. The overall look of the candle is immaculate and aesthetic. I love my candle and will be buying another one. My only tip is to trim the wick each time, so your candle does not smoke."

Nice and Light Scent

"I am very sensitive and picky when it comes to scented things. I wanted a soft and relaxing candle to burn and this is perfect. When I read the other reviews saying the scent was very subtle I thought, PERFECT! It is a nice, light lavender scent that is very calming. The packaging is beautiful too. My only complaint is that after burning the glass holder is starting to turn black from the wick."

Lightly scented

"I bought it because I love candles and want only non-toxic ones in my space. And I really do love lavender, bergamot, sandalwood, and vanilla, so the blend of smells is a good one. I would say its a bit too lightly scented, as I am burning a candle for the ambiance AND the smell, hoping to give my space a boost in all the ways, not just have a tiny flame in a room. Ha! So, if you're wanting a candle that has a light scent that carries through a space (even a small space), this isn't it. If you're going to light it at your desk while you're working or reading/being near it? I think you'll smell it. Not a bad candle, just a candle with the perk of it being non-toxic. :)"
